The Loch Ness Lodge Hotel is an ideal, comfortable base for walkers and climbers. If you are keen to climb a munro or more, you won't find a better place to stay. Great facilities, ample parking, bath tubs in all rooms, drying facilities, log fires, real ale and good home cooking. Early continental breakfast available on request and packed lunches.

Loch Ness Area Munros:

 

Carn Eige – the highest summit north of the great glen way

Mam Sodhail – a twin to the neighbouring CarnEige the two highest peaks north of the great glen

Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan – a magnificent mountain, the culminating point of a series of fine ridges

Sgurr na Lapaich –Situated on the north side of Loch Mullardoch

An Riabhan – A massive ridged mountain

Tom a chainich – an 'e' shaped junction of three ridges above Glen Affric

Sgurr a ,choire Glais – a grand peak, topped with two fine cairns

An Socach – This one is deep in wild country above the upper part of Loch Mullardoch

Toll Creagach – A dome – like summit with shallow corries

Sgurr Fhuar-thuill – grassy ridge with some dramatic corries

Ben Wyvis – a huge bulky Munro prominent in many views

Beinn Fhionn Laidh – is a frustrating Munro but worth the trek

Sguirr na Ruaidhe – One of the four Glen Strathferror Munros

Can nan Gobhor – This Munro is a fairly rounded peak

Mullach nan Dheiragain – Is a more awkward Munro to reach

An Socac - This is a very remote Munro at the heart of Glen affric
